You want a “normal life” story? This one laughs in your face. Victoria of Many Faces (Tefuda ga Ōme no Victoria) is coming in hot with a new short promo titled “Victoria and Nonna”, plus an early online screening. If you love spies, disguises, and the classic “I’m fine… oh no I’m not” vibe, keep reading, vos.

Write this down, because time zones love to bully you:

• Online advanced screening: June 27 at 3:00 p.m. JST (that’s 2:00 a.m. EDT). You’ll get the first 2 episodes streamed, and there’s a talk segment with the main cast. Two episodes is a solid taste. Not a sad little teaser.

• TV premiere: July 7 at 24:00 on TV Tokyo and affiliates. Yeah, that “24:00” thing. In human time, it’s July 8 at 12:00 a.m.. Midnight gang, you’re up.

Quién está detrás: staff, estudio y música

This isn’t a random rollout. The core team is already on the table:

• Director: Nobukage Kimura

• Series scripts: Naohiro Fukushima

• Character designs (for animation): Mina Ōsawa

• Animation studio: Studio DEEN

And for the ending, you’re getting a full song, not a 15-second loop:

• Ending theme: “En no Tsuki” by KI_EN (a 3-piece band). Three people, one job: make you feel things while the credits roll.

De qué va: una espía que quiere paz… y le cae el mundo

The setup hits fast and it’s nasty:

Chloe is a top-level spy. Disguises? Elite. Martial arts? Handled. She clears brutal missions like it’s just another Tuesday. Then boom: her boss betrays her. So she disappears and tries to reboot her life as “Victoria,” a regular citizen in the neighboring kingdom of Ashberry.

Sounds peaceful, right? Ajá. Her “normal” life gets cut short when she starts getting pulled into people’s business. And here’s the punchline: the very skills she’s trying to leave behind are the ones that become useful again. On top of that, the second prince (and others) notice her strength, and the shadows start closing in. Multiple faces. Multiple problems. Zero chill.

El material original, en números

If you’re the type who likes to track progress (or you just like receipts):

• Original story: began online in December 2021, last update noted in February 2022.

• Light novel print: volume 3 released in January 2024; volume 4 ships on June 25.

• Manga adaptation: launched in December 2022; compiled volume 6 shipped on February 16.

So yeah, there’s enough material to chew on. And if this anime nails the tension + disguise mind games, you’re going to be shouting at your screen like “¡Dale pues, Victoria!”
