Subsequently, Shueisha publishing house took the title to reorganize the panels into a traditional print reading format. Its fourteenth and final collected volume arrived in Japanese stores in February 2025. Synopsis of The Ramparts of Ice

Koyuki Hikawa is an extremely reserved student who has serious difficulties in relating to others. Her practical solution consists of building a cold wall to keep others at bay. Despite her distant attitude, her classmate Minato Amemiya insists on approaching her without a clear reason. The plot follows the daily friction and learnings of these young people, who are joined by the ever-popular Miki and the laid-back Yota to form a group full of emotional and social complications.

Do you think the vertical format of the original webtoon will affect how the studio approaches the visual narrative of this adaptation?
