Synopsis of Petals of Reincarnation

The plot follows Toya Senji, a high school student suffering from a severe inferiority complex. Despite having excellent grades, he feels completely ordinary when constantly comparing himself to his successful older brother. His desire to become special leads him to cross paths with Haito Luo Buffett, a gifted classmate. She reveals a terrifying secret to him: she used a mystical object known as the "Branch of Reincarnation" to extract the talent from her past life, becoming the reincarnation of the legendary swordsman Miyamoto Musashi. Toya discovers that there are other "Returners" in the world, reincarnated geniuses who plan to use their historical talents to fulfill extremely twisted ambitions.

If you could use a Branch of Reincarnation without suffering the side effects, which skill from which historical figure would you like to acquire?
