Laid-Back Camp All-In-One!! Chill Time Rebuilds the Mobile Game Into a Cozy Productivity Companion
enish will relaunch the Yuru Camp△ app on October 22 with Pomodoro tools, campsite customization, cross-platform plans, and a separate Steam Early Access release

Laid-Back Camp All-In-One!! is changing its route. What began as a mobile camping simulation and gacha game is now heading toward a calmer stop. enish has confirmed that the app will return as Laid-Back Camp All-In-One!! Chill Time, a productivity companion built around work, study, and a very relaxed campsite.
The switch arrives on October 22 at 2 AM UTC for iOS, Android, DMM Games, and Windows via Steam. And yes, this is not just a patch with a new coat of paint. We are looking at a full overhaul.

A different kind of Yuru Camp△ game
The original version leaned into camping simulation and gacha systems. Chill Time takes a different path. Here, the focus moves to helping us work or study while characters from the series spend time camping on screen. It is closer in spirit to a cozy companion app than to a traditional management game.
Think of a desk buddy, but one that brings Nadeshiko Kagamihara, Rin Shima, and Chiaki Ogaki along for the session. They appear in chibi form, voiced by their Japanese cast, and remain active in the background while we try to be productive. Or at least while we pretend to be productive for seven minutes before checking snacks. It happens.
What Chill Time adds to daily use
The new version includes several tools designed to turn the game into part of a routine. The core features include:
- An in-game Pomodoro timer for work and break sessions
- A calendar to organize upcoming plans
- A to-do list for tracking tasks
- Background music and ambient sounds to shape the mood
Each session logged through the timer becomes a record of the time spent alongside the cast. It is a simple idea, but it gives the app a more personal rhythm. We work, they camp, everybody wins. Or at least the deadline wins less aggressively.

Customization is still a big part of the experience
Even with the productivity angle, customization has not been pushed aside. In fact, it looks like one of the most playful parts of Chill Time.
Players can build their own campsite by choosing a background and placing tents, food, and other items. On top of that, Nadeshiko, Rin, and the rest of the group can be dressed with more than 1,000 outfit and gear options.
Once the setup is ready, the camera shifts around the campsite every few seconds. That movement lets us watch the characters interact with the placed objects from different angles. Even if we pause our work, the scenery keeps moving, so the camp never feels frozen.

What carries over from the original game
For current players, the transition is meant to be smooth. Anyone playing the original mobile version only needs to update the app to move into Chill Time.
Several items will carry over, including:
- Player name
- Gear
- Cooking items
- Costumes
- Support cards, which will be renamed Stills
The rebuilt version also continues using assets from the original app, so there is a clear bridge between both releases rather than a full reset.
Dates, service changes, and free pulls
The timeline is already locked in. Service for the original Laid-Back Camp All-In-One!! will end on October 21 at 2 AM UTC. Then, one day later, Chill Time will launch on mobile and enter Early Access on Steam at October 22 at 2 AM UTC.
Before that happens, players who continue logging in to the original game from September 18 to October 21 will receive 10 free gacha pulls per day. That is a generous send-off, and probably the sort of thing that makes daily check-ins very easy to justify.
There is also a financial shift already in place. Sales of in-game currency for the original title were suspended on September 18. Refunds for unused currency are planned as well, with more details to be announced later.

Steam will follow a separate model
One detail stands out immediately: the Steam release will not copy the mobile business model exactly.
While the iOS, Android, and DMM Games versions remain free-to-play with in-app purchases, the Steam version will launch as a one-time purchase in Early Access. The developers plan to improve it over time and add features based on player feedback.
That makes the PC edition feel like its own branch of the project. Same campsite energy, different strategy. It is a practical split, especially for players who prefer buying a full app up front instead of managing another free-to-play ecosystem.
A social touch for quiet sessions
Chill Time also includes an online feature that lets up to five people gather at the same campsite. It is a small addition on paper, but it changes the atmosphere. A study session can stay quiet without feeling empty.
For a game built around gentle company, that fits perfectly. Not every multiplayer feature needs fireworks. Sometimes five people sharing a digital campsite is enough.

Why this relaunch stands out
This relaunch does more than rebrand an existing mobile game. It changes the purpose of the app. Instead of asking us to chase the usual loop, Chill Time tries to sit next to our day and become useful in it.
That gives the Yuru Camp△ license a surprisingly natural direction. Camping, routines, comfort, soft background noise, a timer that nudges us forward. It all connects more neatly than expected.
Laid-Back Camp All-In-One!! Chill Time launches on October 22 for iOS, Android, DMM Games, and Steam. If the idea of turning a cozy anime game into a study companion sounds appealing, this is one to keep on the list.
What do you think of this shift from gacha camping game to productivity companion? Would we use Chill Time for work sessions, or are we mostly here for the campsite outfits?
