Ingoku Danchi Anime Reveals New Cast, Visual, and April Premiere Date
Supernatural Erotica Manga Adaptation Drops Key Details and Uncensored Streaming Plans

The wheels are turning for the upcoming television anime adaptation of Ingoku Danchi, also known as Deviant's Apartment Complex. This week, the production committee pulled back the curtain to reveal a treasure trove of new information, from fresh faces in the cast to the all-important theme song and a main promotional video that gives us a better look at the... complex situation. It's like they finally decided to give us the keys to the apartment, but we're still not sure if we want to move in.

The anime is set to make its grand, and likely scandalous, entrance on April 5th. It will premiere on Tokyo MX and BS11. For those who prefer their supernatural erotica without the blurry bits, the exclusive uncensored version will be streaming on AnimeFesta. Other major platforms will carry the simulcast and on-demand versions for the more faint of heart. We always appreciate having options.
A Cast of Complex Characters

Joining the previously announced cast are several new voices, each presumably ready to navigate the building's peculiar temptations. The new residents and figures include:
- Kiritani, voiced by Ai Shimizu (known from High School DxD Hero).
- Numajiri, brought to life by Hasumi Itou (of Fate/Zero fame).
- Tsujisaki Hasegawa, with Sayuri Yahagi (Nihon e Youkoso Elf-san.) behind the mic.
- Shouda Shirakage, voiced by Misato Fukuen (Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete).
- Andou, with Kazuki Asami (Ao no Miburo) taking the role.
- Haibara, voiced by Nagisa Kujime (Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray).
And in a delightful bit of casting, the legendary Tomokazu Sugita (the new Ranma ½, among countless others) will be providing the narration. His voice could probably make a tax form sound interesting, so we have high expectations for his delivery here.
The Sound and Vision of Temptation
The series will feature the theme song "Danchi Tsuma no Yuuwaku Part 2" performed by singer miko. Given the title translates to "The Temptation of the Apartment Wife Part 2," we think we have a pretty clear idea of the show's musical tone. It's not exactly going to be an uplifting shonen anthem, is it?
On the production side, the anime is being directed by Toshikatsu Tokoro at studio Elias. Fans might recognize his work from the equally... spirited series Nande Koko ni Sensei ga!?. Series composition is handled by Eiyo Kurosaki, while character designs are courtesy of Shingo Nishimoto. The music, which will undoubtedly set the mood for all sorts of supernatural shenanigans, is being composed by Loser Kashiwagi.
From Manga to Screen
The source material, the supernatural erotica manga by Kenkyuujyo Sakusei and Yui Jouyama, began its serialization on the Dra-Dra Sharp# website back in January 2021. The physical volumes have been steadily accumulating on shelves, with Fujimi Shobo having published the eighth volume in June of last year. The ninth volume is already on the horizon, scheduled for release on February 9th. The timing suggests the anime could provide a nice boost for the manga's continued sales, a symbiotic relationship as old as the industry itself.
So, mark your calendars for April 5th. Whether you're tuning in for the uncensored thrills on AnimeFesta or catching the broadcast version, Ingoku Danchi is poised to be one of the season's more audacious offerings. We'll be watching, probably from behind a cushion, just to be safe.
