We have seen the future of entertainment, and it lives behind a digital avatar. PLAYISM and the developers at Glitch Pitch just dropped a bombshell. They are working on Idol Manager: Virtual Venture. This title takes the management formula we know and moves it into the chaotic world of virtual streamers. Forget the traditional pop stars for a moment. Now, we are the ones pulling the strings behind the screens.

The path to virtual stardom starts here

Our journey begins with a simple scouting mission. We need talent, and we need it fast. We can hold massive auditions or hunt for independent streamers who are already making noise. Once we sign them, the real party starts. We house them all under one roof. It is a bit like a reality show, but with more computers and fewer tan lines. We have to moderate their streams, pick the right music, and even choose the overlays. It sounds fun, right? Well, wait until you see the chat logs. Managing a community is a full-time job, even for us Madrileñas who are used to the noise of the Gran Vía.

Control every pixel of their lives

We are not just managers; we are architects of their digital souls. The game gives us total control over the streamers. Here is a small list of what we can do:

  • Select their gender and physical appearance.
  • Manage their social media by liking or reporting posts.
  • Customize their dorm rooms based on their unique personalities.
  • Oversee their chat messages to keep the peace.

Does this make us look like control freaks? Absolutely. But in the world of Idol Manager: Virtual Venture, that is just the price of fame. We have to keep the brand clean, even if the streamers have other plans.

Drama, gossip, and the dark side of the web

It is not all about choosing cute filters. We have to face the dark side of the industry. We will deal with scandals, internal drama, and nasty gossip. Our relationship with the streamers matters. We talk to them, we bond, and sometimes, we have to deliver bad news. It is a visual novel mixed with a spreadsheet, and we love the chaos. If you liked the intensity of Stellar Blade or the character management in Last Origin, you might find this psychological pressure quite familiar.

The game will feature a Story mode following our rise to the top and a Freeplay mode for those who just want to manage without the plot getting in the way. We are looking at a long road ahead, but the promise of multiple endings and romance options makes the wait worth it. Who doesn't love a bit of office romance while the servers are burning?

When can we start streaming?

We need to be patient. Idol Manager: Virtual Venture is scheduled for Early Access on Steam in 2027. It will stay there for about 12 to 18 months. The initial launch will only have about 20% of the campaign. We will have plenty of time to practice our management skills before the full version hits Windows and macOS. It feels like a long time, but building a virtual empire isn't done in a day!

We are ready to become the ultimate virtual moguls. What about you? Do you think you have what it takes to manage a house full of dramatic streamers, or would you rather be the one in front of the camera? Tell us what you think!
