FX Fighter Kurumi-chan: The Anime Exploring the Dangerous World of Finance
The animated adaptation of the manga about a student in the foreign exchange market will arrive in 2026

A Risky Bet with a Clear Goal

Kurumi Fukuga is a university student taking her first steps into the volatile foreign exchange market. Her motivation is not unbridled ambition, but an emotional debt: to recover the 20 million yen that her deceased mother lost in that same world. Convinced it will be a simple task, she immerses herself in an environment where fortune can change from one instant to the next, where unrealized losses and stop-losses are the order of the day. Her heart beats fast, but the desire to buy, sell, and win is stronger.
A Creative Team with Experience
The series will be directed by Yuki Ogawa, whose previous work includes titles like Ōya-san wa Shishunki! and Mieruko-chan. The animation studio Passione will be in charge of bringing this story to life. The scripts will be handled by Kenta Ihara, who will also supervise the series scripts. The character design, crucial for capturing the essence of Kurumi and her companions, will be the responsibility of Kazuyuki Ueda, known for his work on BanG Dream! and Love Flops. To accompany the financial and emotional tension, the music will be composed by Takurō Iga, whose score promises to enhance every twist of the plot.
A Cast of Fighters in the Market
Kurumi will not be alone on this journey. She will be joined by other "FX fighters", making the market heat up even more. Together, they will navigate a money game that is both adorable and dangerous, as the charts rise and fall like a roller coaster. The question hanging in the air is whether Kurumi and her friends can survive in this ruthless and constantly moving world. The voice bringing the protagonist to life will be that of Aina Suzuki, who will embody the determination and vulnerability of the young investor.
The Origin in the Pages of a Manga
This story was born in February 2021 from the hands of writer Demunyan and artist Daisuki Tansan, who began publishing the manga in Kadokawa's Comic Flapper magazine. Its narrative, which mixes personal drama with the harsh reality of trading, has captured readers' attention, already reaching its ninth volume, scheduled for release in Japan on January 22nd. The anime adaptation, officially announced, is scheduled to debut in 2026, giving fans time to prepare for this financial and emotional journey.
