Exclusive art by Akira Matsushima
Bringing home a work based on the acclaimed manga by Koyoharu Gotoge demands an impeccable presentation. The highlight of this limited edition is a brand-new storage box, illustrated by Akira Matsushima, the character designer and chief animation director of the franchise. This new visual features Tanjiro sharing the frame with the Water Hashira, Giyu, a collector's piece already generating buzz for the quality of its artwork. Inside this rigid packaging, fans will find a three-sided protective sleeve and an elegant digipak that also includes original art by Matsushima.
What else does the Infinity Castle limited edition include?
In addition to the impressive exterior, the production company decided to pack in a massive amount of bonus content. The set features an additional CD containing the film's original soundtrack in stereo mix format, allowing you to enjoy the epic themes without visual distractions. Added to this is a bonus disc with the special video And Then to Infinity Castle, along with a high-definition compilation of the commercials and promotional videos that flooded television screens.
As if the digital content weren't enough, the box is complemented by must-read material for die-hard fans. Buyers will receive a special booklet filled with interviews with the production team and cast, where they break down the creative process involved in adapting this first part of the final battle. As the icing on the cake, an exclusive 16-page accordion-style booklet packed with conceptual art and technical details of the film is included.
Considering the massive amount of physical and digital extras Aniplex packed into this first collector's box, do you think the releases of the following films will manage to top this level of content, or will this edition remain the unbeatable crown jewel for collectors of the franchise?
