The internet chooses Zero Two as the best pink-haired character
A poll revealed the top 10 most popular pink-haired anime characters today

In the anime industry, pink hair is almost always synonymous with danger, madness, or an extreme cuteness that ends up conquering the entire internet. To see who currently reigns with this vibrant color, a recent international survey brought to light the 10 favorite characters of the fandom in 2026. Unsurprisingly for veterans, the absolute crown went to Zero Two from Darling in the FranXX (Darling in the FranXX), proving that, no matter how many years pass since its premiere, she remains an unbeatable waifu thanks to her electrifying design and attitude.

From yanderes to psychics who hate drawing attention
Following closely in second place, we have the queen of yanderes, Yuno Gasai from Mirai Nikki (Future Diary), who continues to steal hearts and cause nightmares with her intense and twisted personality. Third place gave a pleasant surprise by crowning Kusuo Saiki from The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. (Saiki Kusuo no Ψ-nan) as the highest-ranking male pink-haired character, celebrated for his sarcastic humor. The overflowing energy of shonen took fourth place thanks to Natsu Dragneel from Fairy Tail, while the shy Miku Nakano from The Quintessential Quintuplets (Gotoubun no Hanayome) rounded out the top 5 in style.
The big absences and the debate on social media
The second half of the table is no less impressive. Sixth place went to Yuuji Itadori from Jujutsu Kaisen, followed by the social anxiety-turned-comedy of Hitori Gotou (Bocchi) from Bocchi the Rock! in seventh position. The fun chaos of Chika Fujiwara from Kaguya-sama: Love is War (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen) took eighth place, leaving the adorable Anya Forger from Spy x Family in ninth, and Nino Nakano closing the tenth position to the pride of her legion of fans.
As expected, the ranking ignited debates on social media. While some argued whether the Nakano sisters' hair truly counts as pure pink, others lamented the painful absence of immortal classics like Lucy from Elfen Lied or Madoka Kaname from Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Looking at the lucky ones who made the list, do you think any iconic character was missing who deserved to dethrone the legendary Zero Two?
