Darling in the Franxx

In a distant, apocalyptic future, humanity survives within massive mobile fortresses called Plantations. Their sole defense against the monstrous, enigmatic beings known as Kyoryu are the FRANXX—giant mecha that can only be piloted in pairs by adolescent boys and girls. These pilots, raised in isolation, know nothing but their duty to fight.

The story follows Hiro, a former prodigy labeled as defective, whose life changes forever with the arrival of Zero Two, a mysterious and fierce girl with red horns known as the "Partner Killer." Their fateful meeting, marked by her declaration, "I've found you, my Darling," sets them on a turbulent path that challenges the very foundations of their world, exploring profound themes of identity, freedom, and the meaning of human connection.
