Ready for More Mafia? Yusha no Kuzu Reveals Trailer and Release Date for Its Second Cour

The battles against mobsters with superhuman powers are far from over. The animated adaptation of Yusha no Kuzu (Scum of the Brave) will keep the adrenaline at its peak with the arrival of its second cour, scheduled to premiere on Japanese television on April 11th. To raise expectations, the production committee released a new trailer and a brand-new promotional image.

This preview offers a sneak peek of the new theme songs that will accompany the upcoming episodes. The vibrant opening, titled "Revive", is performed by the iconic trio ClariS, while the rock band w.o.d. will be in charge of setting the rhythm for the ending with the song "Non-Fiction". The project, which has not paused its broadcast since its start in January, remains in the hands of the animation studio OLM, under the direction of Shinji Ushiro, scripts by Yoichi Kato, and an intense soundtrack composed by Kenichiro Suehiro.

Bounty hunters, pizzas, and mobsters

The original story, written by author Rocket Shokai and illustrated by Nakashima723, transports us to an alternative 21st century where the leaders of the powerful mafia can transform into "Demon Kings" through experimental surgeries. To stop them, there are specialized bounty hunters known as "Braves." Here we meet Yashiro, a man who only wishes to enjoy simple pleasures: a good pizza, beer, and card games. However, his quiet life completely falls apart when he accepts, exclusively for money, to become the private tutor of three young and rookie Braves.
