Yuusha no Kuzu

In a near-future Tokyo where criminal syndicates wield dangerous ether-enhanced powers, the grim and reluctant Grim Reaper Yashiro hunts these so-called Demon Lords. His solitary existence is upended when he is forced to take on an apprentice: the determined high school girl Aki Jogamine, who aspires to become a heroic 'Brave'.

The anime follows their tumultuous partnership as they navigate a treacherous underworld, with Yashiro's cynical, scumbag methods clashing with Aki's idealistic fervor. Yuusha no Kuzu blends supernatural action with a darkly comedic dynamic, exploring themes of mentorship, the blurred lines between heroism and ruthlessness, and the chaos that ensues when a seasoned veteran is stuck with a passionate rookie.
