Marin Kitagawa at full speed! My Dress-Up Darling arrives in motorsports
The TKRI Matsunaga Construction AMG GT3 team unveiled its new design featuring Marin Kitagawa for the Suzuka endurance race.

The world of motorsports and otaku culture have just collided in the most spectacular way possible. The TKRI Matsunaga Construction racing team has revealed the dazzling new design of its AMG GT3 vehicle ahead of the second round of the 2026 Super Endurance Series season in Japan. The absolute star of this new livery? None other than Marin Kitagawa, the beloved heroine of My Dress-Up Darling (Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi o Suru).

Marin Kitagawa at full speed in Suzuka
Officially unveiled this April 16, 2026, during testing at the legendary Suzuka Circuit, the racing car features a colorful illustration of Marin modeling a stunning "Race Queen" cosplay. The impact on social media was immediate, with drivers and team members sharing photographs of the eye-catching vehicle. Even the team ambassador, Miyakoshi Aie, will participate in the traditional pit walk wearing a costume that exactly recreates the heroine's illustration.

A collaboration to promote local tourism
Far from being a simple aesthetic whim, this amazing collaboration is part of the "My Dress-Up Darling x Iwatsuki Anime Collaboration Project." Iwatsuki, a district located in Saitama City, is the main setting where the heartwarming story of Wakana Gojo and Marin takes place, and it is famous in real life for being Japan's largest producer of traditional dolls.
Matsunaga Construction, the main sponsor of the TKRI team and a company originally from this locality, decided to use this important national championship to promote the special event that will be held in the region during the summer of 2026. By bringing manga art to the tracks, they hope to attract both motor enthusiasts and faithful anime fans.
This foray into motorsports celebrates the franchise's immense legacy. It is worth noting that Shinichi Fukuda's original manga concluded in July 2025 with 15 volumes and over 15 million copies sold worldwide, alongside the successful broadcast of its second season. Now, the TKRI team hopes that Marin Kitagawa's unparalleled energy will bring them luck in the relentless Suzuka 5-hour endurance race this April 18 and 19.
