If you’re keeping up with Kimi no Koto ga Daidaidaidaidaisuki na 100-nin no Kanojo (a.k.a. Hyakkano), you’ll want to note the newest update: Season 3 is officially underway, and alongside its broadcast kickoff, a new pair of supporting cast members has been confirmed, ya pues, in a way that neatly sets expectations for what you’ll be hearing and seeing next.

Season 3 premiere and new supporting cast

The third season premiered on Tokyo MX at 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, so if you watch weekly, that’s your anchor time to plan around, whether you’re following live or catching up later through your usual platforms.

Two voice actresses are joining the cast in supporting roles, and you may recognize their previous work:

  • Hana Tamegai (Wandance) as Yamame Yasashiki
  • Aoi Koga (Witch Watch) as Momiji Momi

Are you watching primarily for the character introductions, or are you tracking the seiyuu lineup season by season; and if you do track it, will you add these two names to your personal list of performances to revisit later, boludo?

Main production staff and studio continuity

From the production side, Season 3 keeps continuity where it matters, with Hikaru Satou (Jashin-chan Dropkick) returning to direct at Bibury Animation Studios, while Takashi Aoshima (Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai!) handles series composition and Akane Yano (Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun) leads character design.

Music is being composed by a three-person team: Shuuhei Mutsuki (Lycoris Recoil), Shunsuke Takizawa (Hataage! Kemono Michi), and eba (Dead Mount Death Play), and if you’ve ever done what I do—writing down the composer credits after an episode and then checking where you’ve heard that sonic style before—this is a clean set of names to follow.

Where the anime and manga currently stand

The anime’s first season ran for 12 episodes in Fall 2023, with Season 2 arriving in Winter 2025, and Crunchyroll streamed the series with subtitles plus dubs in multiple languages.

On the manga side, Rikito Nakamura and Yukiko Nozawa launched the series in Young Jump in December 2019; Shueisha published volume 25 on March 18 and is scheduled to publish volume 26 on July 17, while Seven Seas Entertainment releases the English edition under its Ghost Ship imprint, with volume 18 already on sale (June 23) and volume 19 set for September 22.

If you’re following both formats, set your weekly viewing reminder and your volume-release calendar now, and then share which girlfriend introduction you’re most curious to see adapted this season—keep it simple and bacán.
