Turkey! is an anime about the psychological complexities of competition, centered on the unique world of high school bowling. The story follows Mai, the gifted captain of her school's bowling club, who possesses undeniable talent but is inexplicably cursed. Every time she achieves a perfect Turkey—three consecutive strikes—she is inevitably followed by the most punishing split, the Snake Eyes, guaranteeing her defeat.

Her fragile world is challenged when Rina, the club's determined and outspoken first-year member, directly accuses Mai of sabotaging her own success. Confronted with the idea that she is running away from winning, Mai must face the internal fears and pressures that bind her.
