Suzuka

When aimless high school student Yamato Akitsuki moves to Tokyo, his life takes an unexpected turn upon meeting Suzuka Asahina, a beautiful and intensely dedicated track and field athlete. Instantly captivated, Yamato soon discovers that Suzuka views his carefree lifestyle with cold disdain.

Driven by a desire to impress her and to find his own purpose, Yamato makes the impulsive decision to join the school's track team. The anime follows his grueling journey as he struggles to match the physical and mental discipline of the talented athletes around him, particularly Suzuka, whose own past and ambitions create a complex wall between them.

This is a story of first love, personal growth, and perseverance, set against the demanding world of athletics. It explores whether a young man's newfound determination can bridge the gap between his potential and the standards of the girl who inspires him.
