Lazarus

In the year 2052, humanity achieves a golden age of peace, having been freed from sickness and pain by the miracle drug Hapuna, created by Nobel laureate Dr. Skinner. When the scientist vanishes, the world moves on—until his sudden return three years later with a catastrophic warning: Hapuna has a fatal expiration date, and a global die-off is imminent.

In a desperate race against time, an elite international task force codenamed Lazarus is assembled. These five agents must hunt the elusive Skinner and develop a cure before the clock runs out on all of civilization. The anime weaves a tense narrative of survival, exploring themes of hubris, trust, and the price of utopia.
