Kyochuu Rettou

In the survival horror anime Kyochuu Rettou, a school trip takes a catastrophic turn when a plane crashes, leaving student Oribe Mutsumi and her classmates stranded on a remote island. Initially relying on Mutsumi's practical wilderness skills, the group holds onto hope for a swift rescue.

Their struggle for survival takes a nightmarish turn, however, as they discover the island is not deserted but inhabited by colossal, predatory insects. Mutsumi's unique entomological knowledge becomes the group's most vital asset, as she must use her understanding of the behavior and weaknesses of butterflies, wasps, and other deadly creatures to outwit the terrifying ecosystem and keep her friends alive long enough to be found.
