KILLTUBE

KILLTUBE is an anime set in a retro-futuristic Edopunk vision of Tokyo, where the Edo shogunate has persisted in isolation for over 400 years into the year 2026. In this rigidly stratified society, one's social status is decided by a brutal, live-streamed spectacle: mortal combat on the KILLTUBE platform.

The story follows an unlikely trio from the lowest societal ranks who, against all odds and ridicule, dare to enter the deadly arena. As they fight their way up, winning the fickle admiration of the masses, they begin to unravel the dark and hidden truths that sustain the entire system.
