Bousei no Volicia

Set in 2006, Bousei no Volicia follows Akio Hoshigami, a promising athlete whose dreams are shattered by a career-ending leg injury. Starting high school with her steadfast friend Ayano Umisoe, Akio struggles to find a new place for herself amidst new clubs and classmates.

As she slowly begins to heal and rediscover her identity beyond the track, her fragile new normal is shattered when Ayano suddenly vanishes without a trace. This mysterious disappearance forces Akio to confront a new kind of challenge, one that tests the limits of her resilience and the strength of her bonds.
