Welcome to the Mogol Cafe, a surreal stop-motion world where two pipe-cleaner mascots, the energetic Fuyumi and the more reserved Haruko, run their establishment. Each episode revolves around the concept of aiseki—the act of sharing a table with a stranger—as a new, colorful guest, voiced by a variety of male voice actors, arrives.

The anime is a datsuryoku-kei (de-stressing) comedy built on free-flowing, improvised banter between the hosts and their guest.
