The Villager of Level 999 Anime Reveals Trailer, Release Date & New Cast
The fantasy series from Brain's Base arrives in July 2026 with an all-star Japanese voice cast.

Get ready, anime fans! The fantasy world is about to get a whole lot more interesting. The official site for The Villager of Level 999 (Lv999 no Murabito) just dropped its first promotional video, and it's confirmed for a July 2026 premiere. You'll catch it on TV Tokyo and BS Fuji.

Along with the trailer, the production committee gave us a brand-new key visual and dropped some major news: five new voice actors are joining the cast. This isn't just any crew—we're talking top-tier talent from some of your favorite series.
Meet the New Voices of Lv999 no Murabito
This fantasy adaptation is pulling out the big guns. Check out who's stepping into this world:
Hiroya Egashira is playing Takako. You might remember him from Tower of God.
Nobunaga Shimazaki takes on Rex. This guy is a legend, voicing Eugeo in Sword Art Online: Alicization and the unforgettable Mahito in Jujutsu Kaisen.
Manaka Iwami voices Krull. She brought Euphyllia to life in The Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess.
Aoi Koga is Tina. Need I say more? She's the iconic Kaguya Shinomiya from Kaguya-sama: Love is War and has also been in Gushing over Magical Girls.
Lynn rounds out the group as Paruna. She previously voiced Sylpha in I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince.

The Team Behind the Magic
This project is in seriously good hands. The animation powerhouse Brain's Base is handling the visuals, with Yoshinobu Kasai directing the whole show.
The scripts are being supervised by Shinzou Fujita, who you know from the emotional rollercoaster that is To Your Eternity.
Kentarou Matsumoto is adapting the character designs for animation. He's the genius behind the looks in In/Spectre.
And to set the mood? The music is composed by Hiroshi Nakamura, the master who scored Assassination Classroom. With a team like this, the quality is practically guaranteed.
From Web Novel to Anime Phenomenon
The journey of The Villager of Level 999 is a classic success story. It all started back in July 2015 on the web novel site Shousetsuka ni Narou, written by Koneko Hoshizuki.
Publisher Enterbrain saw its potential and picked it up for a light novel release, with illustrations by Fuumi. The story wrapped up in January 2019 with a total of eight compiled volumes.
But the story didn't stop there! A manga adaptation, illustrated by Kenichi Iwamoto, began serialization in Kadokawa's Comp Ace magazine. It's been a massive hit. The 20th compiled manga volume is scheduled to hit shelves on February 25, 2026.
Mark your calendars for July 2026. With this trailer, this cast, and this crew, The Villager of Level 999 is shaping up to be one of the must-watch fantasy anime of the year.
