His rival, the cool and calculating Kiriko Gobancho, will be voiced by Ikumi Hasegawa from 86. Rounding out the main trio as Takao Okonogi is Kouhei Amasaki, familiar to fans of Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go de Dereru Tonari no Alya-san. And adding gravitas as the narrator is the unmistakable Kenjirou Tsuda, whose voice you might recognize from Hataraku Saibou Black.
The Master Chefs Behind the Animation

Handling the series composition is Makoto Uezu, the writer behind Sentouin, Haken shimasu!. The character design and chief animation director duties fall to Masako Matsumoto (Aldnoah.Zero). But what's a cooking anime without mouth-watering food? That crucial task is in the hands of Food Animation Directors Atsushi Okuda (Code Geass) and Chihiro Hanamura.
The team extends to other key areas to capture the manga's unique blend of high-stakes cooking and dramatic action. For the intense kitchen battles, action animator Ryuuichi Makino (Re:Creators) is on board. To ensure culinary authenticity, the production has enlisted Takako Sato for culinary supervision and coordination, and Naoya Higuchi for culinary science supervision. The music, sure to amp up the tension during cooking duels, will be composed by Tomoki Kikuya of Bocchi the Rock! fame.
