Not enough? Check out the new My Hero Academia announcement regarding its extra episode
The adaptation of Kohei Horikoshi's work will expand its final season with unreleased content.

Did you think the journey to becoming the greatest hero of all was already completely over? Well, put your tissues away. Just when we thought the final season would leave us with a massive existential void, the My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia) production committee dropped a surprise this Friday. The production of a special episode has been officially confirmed to air later this year. And to get the hype started, they shared a brand-new promotional image where we can see our favorite students in the heat of the action.

Deku's legacy that conquered half the planet
At this stage of the game, no one can deny the impact of this franchise. Kohei Horikoshi built an editorial juggernaut within the pages of Shonen Jump. What began as the story of the only boy without powers in a world of superhumans transformed into a massive global phenomenon. Years of broadcasting, blockbuster movies, video games, and tons of merchandise. The animated series has known how to hook us with that perfect blend of school drama, spectacular battles against terrifying villains, and that message of never giving up. This additional chapter comes at the perfect time to tie up some loose ends from the manga and give fans an extra treat for their loyalty.
What awaits us in this return to the U.A. classrooms?
Let's get back to basics. If you are just joining this hype train, the world revolves around Quirks, superhuman abilities that almost everyone on the planet possesses. Izuku was born a normal human, but his bravery earned him a ticket to inherit the power of the number one hero. Throughout the series, we've seen him break his bones (literally) to learn how to control that strength. According to early reports, this special episode will be a bonus story designed to give us a breather. More screen time to explore the group's friendships, their daily antics, and, of course, some of that school action we'll miss so much before saying a final goodbye to this generation of heroes.
Knowing the intensity with which Class 1-A trains, do you think this bonus episode will focus on a friendly tournament among them, or will we see a surprise mission against some infiltrated villain?
