Your heart beats faster. The countdown begins. April 2026 is when you'll finally meet them on screen. The official website for the Haibara-kun no Tsuyokute Seishun New Game+ anime has dropped exciting news, and I can barely contain my excitement. It’s like waiting for the final episode of your favorite season, knowing the next chapter is about to begin.

New Voices Bring New Life

Two new names are joining the cast, and they promise to add incredible depth. Can you imagine their voices bringing these characters to life?

  • Ryouta Suzuki steps into the role of Tatsuya Nagiura. You might know his work from Nihon e Youkoso Elf-san. His voice will paint a picture of a character I can't wait to understand.
  • Tomohiro Ono becomes Reita Shiratori. Remember him from [Oshi no Ko]? Get ready for another memorable performance.

This announcement feels like opening a new volume of a manga you adore. You know the story is good, but now the art has new, vibrant colors.

The Team Behind the Magic

The creative force is a dream team. I've followed their work, and seeing them unite for this project gives me chills.

  • Director: Misuzu Hoshino (Saikin Yatotta Maid ga Ayashii)
  • Series Composition: Keiichirou Oochi (5-toubun no Hanayome)
  • Character Design: Hiromi Ono (Rinkai!)
  • Music Composition: Sounosuke Takao (Dosanko Gal wa Namara Menkoi)
  • Studio: Studio Comet

This isn't just a list of names. It's a promise. A promise of laughter, of awkward teenage moments, and of that sweet, painful pang of first love.

A Story That Keeps Growing

The journey of Haibara-kun no Tsuyokute Seishun New Game+ began as a light novel by Kazuki Amamiya, with illustrations by Gin, back in December 2021. Hobby Japan's HJ Bunko imprint has already published nine volumes, with the latest arriving in July 2025.

But the story didn't stop there. It leaped from the page to become a manga, drawn by Misaomaru on Comic Fire, completing its run in August 2024. And just when you thought it was over, a sequel manga by Komochiya began in December 2024. The story is alive, breathing, and expanding.

For English-speaking fans, J-Novel Club has been your bridge. They've brought eight volumes to you digitally, with the ninth scheduled to arrive on February 27. The wait is almost over.

Mark Your Calendar

April 2026. Circle it on your calendar. Set a reminder on your phone. The premiere is set for TBS, BS11, and other broadcasters. This is your invitation to a new game. A teenage new game+.
