Frieren Season 2 Episode 6 Faces a Short Delay

Asumadre, we were so excited for the next chapter of Sousou no Frieren, but life had other plans. We have to be patient because our favorite elf is taking a tiny break. Madhouse just confirmed that Episode 6 of Frieren Season 2 is moving its date. It feels like a long walk through a blizzard, but we will survive. We are definitely going to miss our weekly dose of magic and nostalgia.

New Release Date for Episode 6

Pucha, we were ready for February 20, but the calendar changed. The episode will now air on February 27, 2026. Why the sudden move? The Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics are taking over the screens in Japan. Sports are cool, but waiting for Frieren is hard! This delay affects both Nippon TV and international streaming platforms. We just have to wait seven more days to see what happens next.

Why we are so hyped for this episode

This isn't just any regular episode. It is the big start of the Shingi no Revolte-hen (Divine Revolte Arc). We are finally getting into the meat of the story from the manga by Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe. Check out what is coming:

A small bump in a great season

The season started on January 16 and it was going perfectly. This is actually the first time they have paused the broadcast. It is a bit of a bummer, but the chamba the animators are doing is incredible. After the Olympics end, the schedule should go back to normal.
