It seems that peace and quiet are simply not in the vocabulary of the controversial Mikeneko. The independent VTuber, whom many still remember for her turbulent and media-heavy tenure as Uruha Rushia, has just dropped a true legal bombshell. Tired of the constant online harassment, she formally announced that authorities have accepted her criminal complaints against 11 individuals who dedicated themselves to defaming her and tarnishing her image on Japanese forums.

A legal hunt without a drop of mercy

Through her social media, the content creator made it very clear that she is going in with the full weight of the law. She explained that the documents are already in the hands of prosecutors and that several of these keyboard "braves" have already received their respective official notifications. According to her, there are many posts dedicated to deliberately twisting facts to attack her, so her stance in this scenario is unwavering: "I will not forgive them at all!" She warned that she will continue to legally hunt down anyone who crosses the line of defamation.

Irony and the internet's relentless memory

Obviously, this statement caused the otaku community to explode. Although her most loyal followers supported her to stop the harassment once and for all, the vast majority of the internet was quick to label her a hypocrite. Users have not forgotten that a few years ago she herself used anonymous accounts to falsely accuse her ex-husband of domestic violence and of killing her cat; a terrible drama that completely collapsed and ended with her being the one sued.

Mockery and criticism were immediate. Between those pointing out the extremely low success rate of these types of complaints in Japan, and a user who joked that her lawyer must be so bored waiting for progress that he surely started playing Pokémon, the situation has turned into a circus. Many wonder why she doesn't simply block her haters and move on with her life, but if this girl has taught us anything since 2022, it's that she prefers to fight until the very end.

Do you think Mikeneko has every right to sue her detractors despite her controversial past, or do you think she is making a mountain out of a molehill?
