An Announcement That Came in Volume Two

The news didn't come through a big event or a spectacular trailer. It was much more discreet, and perhaps that's why it's more charming. The confirmation of the TV anime adaptation for Dōkyo Shiteiru Kensei no Onna Shishō ga Kawaisugite Mainichi Shiawase Desu appeared directly on the cover of the manga's second volume. A detail that will undoubtedly delight fans who are already following the story. This volume is scheduled to arrive in stores on January 23.

The Premise: Brute Force and Adorable Clumsiness

Imagine the scene: Eugene Dawson is a boy with a dream, to become stronger. To achieve this, he becomes the live-in apprentice of Liza Parsandora, a renowned swordmaster teacher. So far, it sounds like a typical training shonen. But reality is different.

Liza, in the dojo, is a force of nature. Her skill with the sword is unmatched. The problem, or rather the blessing, begins when training ends. In her private life, Liza is clumsy, absent-minded, and adorably helpless. Her innocent nature, combined with a spectacular physique and a tendency to initiate physical contact without much awareness, tests Eugene's concentration.

The Protagonist's Dilemma

The boy wondered if he would be happy every day living with someone so charming. Now his main doubt is whether, with so many distractions, he will ever manage to become stronger. It's the classic battle between discipline and... well, overwhelming cuteness.

A Manga with a Promising Path

The work, created by Kennoji (story) and R_ringo (art), began its serialization on the Kadocomi website in March 2024. The pace has been steady, with the first volume published in January 2025 and the second about to be released. The anime announcement at such an early stage speaks to the potential and good reception this romantic comedy with martial arts elements is receiving.

The Author's Track Record

For those unfamiliar with Kennoji, this is not his first rodeo in the world of adaptations. He is the author of Drugstore in Another World: The Slow Life of a Cheat Pharmacist, a work that already received its anime adaptation in July 2021. His bibliography also includes titles like The Girl I Saved on the Train Turned Out to Be My Childhood Friend and I Time-Traveled and Confessed to My Teacher Crush, demonstrating his familiarity with comedy and romance plots in various settings.

What Can We Expect?

With a premise that mixes the effort to improve with everyday situations full of humor and an incipient romance, the anime promises to deliver doses of cuteness, comedy, and action moments. The dynamic between the serious and dedicated Eugene and the powerful but innocent Liza is the heart of the series.

Now all that's left is to wait for more details: animation studio, character designs, voice cast, and, most importantly, a release date. In the meantime, the curious can start reading the manga to immerse themselves in the daily life of this apprentice and his teacher, who is as lethal with a sword as she is clumsy with a cup of tea.
