Oideyo Mahou Shoujo-mura (Fuhou Senkyo) follows Tomakomai, a weary 43-year-old office worker whose life is upended when corporate power harassment results in an unexpected transformation into a magical girl. Seeking refuge, she finds herself in a peculiar, illegally occupied village populated by other magical girls who are far from the typical youthful heroines.

The village is home to eccentric residents like the perpetually cheerful Nemuro and the ancient Seikou, whose lives revolve around alcohol and detached amusement. This anime explores Tomakomai's struggle to adapt to a new existence filled with absurdity, dark humor, and surreal despair, as she navigates a community that has completely abandoned conventional magical girl ideals.
