In a distant future, humanity's pursuit of immortality through genetic manipulation has come at a terrible cost: the species can no longer reproduce. Their only hope lies deep underground, where rumors suggest the cloned beings inhabiting the labyrinthine underworld may have regained fertility.

JUNK HEAD follows the perilous mission of Parton, a surface dweller selected to descend into this vast, subterranean abyss. His objective is to find a way to secure humanity's future. However, the descent leads him into a nightmarish world of bizarre, bio-mechanical creatures and forgotten technologies, where survival is a constant struggle and nothing is as it seems.

The anime masterfully blends cyberpunk dystopia with body horror and profound philosophical questions.
