In the ordinary town of Verone, the lives of two very different middle school students, the athletic Nagisa Misumi and the brilliant Honoka Yukishiro, are changed forever. They are chosen by magical beings from another world to become the legendary warriors of light, Pretty Cure.

Transforming into Cure Black and Cure White, this unlikely duo must learn to work together, combining Nagisa's fiery passion with Honoka's calm intellect. They embark on a mission to protect Earth and the magical Garden of Light from the forces of the Dark Zone, which seeks to plunge all worlds into darkness.
